Good afternoon. Thank you all for being here – all of you. In a few minutes, we will begin our meeting of the Justice Department’s Election Threats Task Force.

Good morning. It’s an honor to be here today to join with the Weeks family and this community to recognize Deputy U.S. Marshal Thomas Weeks.

Thank you, Steve. I am grateful for that overly generously introduction. No disrespect intended, but next time I’d like that woman there to introduce me. She’s really something.

Thank you, Chairman Rogers, Ranking Member Cartwright, and distinguished Members of the Subcommittee for the opportunity to discuss the Justice Department’s funding request for Fiscal Year 2025.

Good morning. Earlier today, the Department of Justice, joined by 15 states and the District of Columbia sue Apple in the U.S. District Count for the District of New Jersey for violating Section 2 of the Sherman Antitrust Act.
