Criminal Charges: On August 3, 2021, Dayakar Mallu was charged via a criminal information with one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and one count of aiding in the preparation of a false tax return. According to the information, Mallu conspired with others to trade in the securities of Mylan, N.V., a NASDAQ-listed public company, of which Mallu was a former employee, in advance of corporate announcements concerning drug approvals, financial earnings, and a merger.
