Jesse Lopez entered a guilty plea on May 1, 2008 to a two count information charging him with one count of conspiracy (Count 1: 18 U.S.C. § 371) and one count of wire fraud (Count 2: 18 U.S.C. § 1343) and was sentenced on April 18, 2008 to 51 months' incarceration, 3 months supervised release and ordered to pay $5 million in restitution, jointly and severally with his co-defendants.

Lopez was originally charged by complaint on May 25, 2007, indicted on July 25, 2007, and then charged in a superseding indictment on February 27, 2008. He has been held without bond since his deportation.

Inquiry into Status of Counsel Hearing was heard and denied on April 23, 2008.
