Patrick Ohlweiler entered a guilty plea on August 21, 2007 before Magistrate Judge David C. Keesler, to one count of conspiracy (Count 1: 18 U.S.C. § 371) and one count of wire fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1343), with a telemarketing fraud enhancement (18 U.S.C. § 2326). Sentencing is set for August 18, 2008 at 10:15 a.m.

Ohlweiler surrendered on a complaint, filed on May 25, 2007, charging him with one count of wire fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1343), with a telemarketing fraud enhancement (18 U.S.C. § 2326), stemming from a massive, Costa Rica-based telemarketing fraud scheme that targeted thousands of U.S. residents, resulting in victim losses of more than $10 million.
