Two Local Crack Cocaine Suppliers Change Plea to Guilty

JAN 15 -- Martin C. Carlson, Acting United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, announced today that two local crack cocaine suppliers have change their plea to guilty.

Nathan Reaves, age 32, and Ollie Odis Reaves, a/k/a “Odie Reaves”, age 31, both formerly of New York, entered into guilty pleas today before United States Judge William C. Caldwell to conspiring to distribute and possession with intent to distribute in excess of 50 grams of crack cocaine.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Carlson, both men moved to Harrisburg from New York and became a primary source of supply for local drug dealers. Both men participated in the distribution of kilogram quantities of crack cocaine in the Harrisburg area.

Both men face a 20 year mandatory minimum prison sentence. No sentencing date has been scheduled.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; Dauphin County Drug Task Force; Harrisburg City Vice Unit; and the Pennsylvania State Parole office.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Daryl F. Bloom and Joseph J. Terz.
