Anonymous Tip Leads to the Arrest of Boise Resident

JUN 25 -- (BOISE, ID) – DEA Special Agent in Charge Arnold R. Moorin announced that Darin Ray, a resident of Boise was arrested on June 19, 2008 and charged with Manufacturing Marijuana and Trafficking in Cocaine.

The investigation was initiated after Drug Enforcement Administration agents received an anonymous tip that an indoor marijuana grow operation was inside a home in the 9600 block of W. Weir Hollis. Subsequently, a search was obtained and as Darin Ray exited the residence, he was placed under arrest. Inside the residence, law enforcement seized 184 marijuana plants, cocaine, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
