Miami Area Red Ribbon Events

October 23rd
Red Ribbon Fair at Pensacola Naval Air Station. More than 50,000 students from three different counties will transported for an all day fair at the Naval Station.

October 24th
"It Takes a Village to Save a Child". This is a community drug awareness outreach program in at the City of Miami Shores sponsored by DEA and Informed Families. SAC Mark R. Trouville will be one of the speakers at this activity. This activity will have a town hall meeting format with the participation of multiple representatives of this community.

October 25th
Red Ribbon Presentation by DEA Miami at Ponce de Leon Middle School in Miami.

October 29th
Red Ribbon Presentation by DEA Miami at Richmond Elementary in Miami.

The following activities are being coordinated by the Tampa District Office and final dates are not yet finalized.

Red Ribbon presentations in multiple schools at Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties.

Great American Teach In at public and private schools in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco.

Presentation to Arson Investigators Conference in Zephyrhills, Fl on October 9, 2007 (meth awareness).

Sea Cadets presentation (3rd year DEA has appeared for group).
