Working with Communities

Central to DEA’s Demand Reduction Program is work at the community level. DEA Demand Reduction coordinators around the country are part of hundreds of community coalitions which fight drugs in large cities, small towns and rural areas.

DEA participated in the creation of “Las Drogas y Nuestros Jovenes in conjunction with the Hispanic Crime Prevention Program from Florida International University.

Phoenix DRC participated in a Tribal Meth Conference of the Ft. McDowell Yavapai Apache Nation, entitled A Response to the Meth Crisis in Indian Country: A Team Approach to Strengthening Native Families.
