General Counterdrug Intelligence Plan
In February 2000, the General Counterdrug Intelligence Plan, or GCIP, was signed
by the President and eight Cabinet members of the President's Council on Counter-Narcotics.
The Plan promotes intelligence sharing among agencies in the following areas:
National Coordination
National Centers
Regional, State and Local Cooperation
Foreign Coordination
Analytic Personnel Development and Training
Information Technology
Counterdrug Intelligence Coordinating Group
