Owner Of Marlborough Pharmacy
June W. Stansbury,
Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration in New
England
and Kevin J. O’Connor, United States Attorney for the District
of Connecticut, today announced that the United States has filed a civil suit
against ROBERT JENCO, R.Ph., of 33 Insalaco Drive, Windham, Connecticut, former
owner and operator of Marlborough Pharmacy, of 2-A Independence Drive, Marlborough,
Connecticut, and Marlborough Pharmacy, Inc., for alleged violations of the Controlled

The law imposes responsibility for proper prescribing and dispensing of controlled
substances is upon the prescribing practitioner, but a corresponding responsibility
rests with the pharmacist who fills the prescription.

The case has been assigned to U.S. District Court Judge Christopher F. Droney
in Hartford.

of Diversion Control in Hartford, and the State of Connecticut Department of
Consumer Protection, Drug Control Division.
