version] Waterbury Man Sentenced to More Than 12 Years in Federal Prison DEC 5 -- June W. Stansbury, Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration in New England and Kevin J. O’Connor, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that WILLIAM RAMOS, also known as “Lule,” 32, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Mark R. Kravitz in United States District Court in New Haven to 151 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release. On June 7, 2007, RAMOS pleaded guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute, and distribution of, heroin. RAMOS, who previously had been convicted of multiple felonies, was sentenced as a career offender under federal sentencing guidelines. |
