National
Law Enforcement Memorial Week
MAY 18--May
15 is National Law Enforcement Memorial Week in honor of all America's
federal, state and local law enforcers. This initiative allows us to
pay tribute to our fellow officers/agents who have made the ultimate
sacrifice in their dedication to duty and honor. It's a special time
as we come together in the law enforcement community to honor our fallen
heroes.
On May 18, 2004,
SAC James D. Craig and the Houston Field Division hosted a memorial
service in remembrance of the 71 brave men and women who have lost
their lives in the line of duty. During the program, as he stood in
front of the Houston Division Wall of Honor, SAC Craig thanked all
the employees and invited guests for sharing in the effort to memorialize
our colleagues for their sacrifice and loss…also, to leave with
the commitment in your heart to the memory of our fallen heroes - and
the thought: NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN - NEVER…
