ZORAN
B. YANKOVICH
During his tenure, Mr. Yankovich served with DEA in Spokane, Washington, Anchorage, Alaska and Boise, Idaho. In 1987, he was promoted to Resident Agent in Charge of the Anchorage Resident Office. In 2000, he was selected as an Inspector for the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) in Dallas, Texas. In 2002, Mr. Yankovich was promoted to Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) of the Seattle Field Division. After spending only four months in Seattle, the Anchorage Resident Office was upgraded to a District Office. His prior experience in the State of Alaska made him the natural choice to lead this new office through the transformation as its first ASAC. In February 2004, Mr. Yankovich was appointed Associate Special Agent in Charge II of the Houston Field Division, where he was in charge of the Houston Division’s Intelligence program, San Antonio, McAllen and Laredo District Offices and Austin, Waco, Eagle Pass, Brownsville and Corpus Christi Resident Offices. In April 2005, he was appointed Special Agent in Charge of the El Paso Field Division with responsibility for West Texas and New Mexico; an area which covers nearly 40% of the U.S. border with Mexico. In April 2007, he returned to the Gulf Coast Region of Texas as the Special Agent in Charge of the Houston Field Division.
