Thank you for your interest in a career as a Special Agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. The first step in the application process is to call the above telephone number and speak with an agent regarding the position and to register for an orientation. Only those individuals who have telephoned the recruitment office may attend an orientation. Orientations are held in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, Orlando, and Miami. At the conclusion of the orientation, the first application package will be handed out. Please set aside four hours for the orientation.  

The DEA is truly a worldwide agency with agents assigned to twenty-one (21) domestic field divisions and seventy-eight (78) foreign offices. The DEA is the international leader in the dismantling and prosecution of the world's most notorious organizations.

To determine if you may qualify to be a DEA Special Agent, take the on-line Eligibility Quiz.

Testing is for all applicants currently in the application process. To schedule an orientation, please contact the Miami Field Division Recruiter at 305-994-4812.
