Release [print-friendly version] Federal Law Enforcement Foundation Honors Special Agent Dan Dyer
Special Agent Dan Dyer of the New York Field Division received the Investigator of the Year Award for his unwavering dedication while investigating the drug trafficking operations of key members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). A two year investigation that started with little information, evolved into one of the largest comprehensive assaults against the leaders of the FARC. Starting in March, 2004 through March 2006 Special Agent Dan Dyer from the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Strike Force (OCDESF), compiled enough evidence to indict 60 FARC leaders of which 6 have been extradited and three are pending extradition. Reynolds, International Friendship Award Recipient Ambassador Dan Gillerman, Israel Ambassador to the United Nations, Community Service Award Recipients Hon. Richard A. Brown, Hon. Terrance P.
