Operation Cyber Chase

MAY 26 -- On April 20, 2005, James M. Kasson, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Philadelphia Field Division (center) and US Attorney Patrick Meehan (left of center), announced at a press conference the culmination of "Operation Cyber Chase". SAC Kasson stated " ... that today's arrest mark the culmination of a 14 month investigation of an international internet pharmaceutical organization operating in the United States, India, Asia Europe and Carribian. This organization used over 200 websites to illicitly distribute controlled substances world wide..." Seventeen suspects were arrested and over 7.1 million in currency were seized.
