The Philadelphia Division is recruiting candidates for law enforcement Special Agents. You must be a US citizen, 21 to 36 years of age, and in excellent physical condition. Applicants must successfully complete all steps of the Special Agent hiring process, including a written and oral assessment, drug screening, medical examination, physical task test, psychological assessment, polygraph examination and a full-field background investigation. The Drug Enforcement Administration, Philadelphia Division is seeking qualified, determined and highly motivated individuals for the Special Agent position. DEA Special Agents conduct criminal investigations, carry firearms, and prepare for the prosecution of major violators of the Drug Laws of the United States. The DEA is the premier drug law enforcement agency in the world.

In order to proceed in the recruitment process, the DEA Philadelphia Division (which covers the states of Pennsylvania and Delaware) requests that the applicants attend a comprehensive Orientation. Orientations are conducted by S/A Carl D. Giardinelli. Attire will be business casual, Applicants should bring their resume, college transcript with final GPA, valid driver’s license, note paper, and a pen. The orientation could last up to three hours; discussed during the orientation will be the hiring process to include any and all questions regarding DEA as a career.
