friendly page] 9 Arrested in Suspected Methamphetamine Drug Manufacture / Trafficking in Lamont and Bakersfield, CA (Bakersfield, CA)-The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Bakersfield Police Department, Kern County Sheriff’s Office, and HIDTA announce the arrest of nine (9) suspected methamphetamine drug manufacture / traffickers in Lamont and Bakersfield, CA. This investigation resulted from a two-month criminal investigation in which two methamphetamine laboratories located in Lamont and Bakersfield were seized. On the morning of April 26, 2006, six (6) residences within Lamont and Bakersfield were searched that resulted in the seizure of: Three (3) gallons of Methamphetamine oil, The residences searched were: 109 Clyde St. Bakersfield, CA The following persons were arrested: 1. Juan Pablo Iniguez, 25 of Lamont, CA State of California criminal charges have been filed in this matter that include but not limited to: Manufacture of a controlled substance DEA Resident Agent in Charge Stephen P. Peterson stated this was a significant methamphetamine organization that manufactured and distributed methamphetamine in Lamont and Bakersfield, CA. RAC Peterson further added the DEA will continue to work in cooperation with its local and federal counterparts to protect and serve the residents of Bakersfield and Kern County from the dangers of illegal drugs.
