About the Court
The Cleveland Immigration Court opened its doors in September of 2006. The Court staff is structured for two Immigration Judges, one Court Administrator, five Legal Assistants, one Student Clerk, and one Junior Law Clerk. Plans are underway to expand the Court staff with an additional Immigration Judge for a total of three and a Supervisory Legal Assistant. This is expected to occur during the calendar year of 2008. When the Cleveland Immigration Court is fully staffed, there will be 12 employees assigned to manage the everyday business of the Court.
