Q. What are the Court's hours of operation?
A. The Philadelphia Immigration Court is open for business Monday through Friday from 8:30AM - 5:00PM. The filing window is closed each day from 12:00-1:00PM

Q. How do I obtain information on my case?
A. The court will only release information to the respondent, or the respondent's attorney of record. Basic information, such as the next hearing date, are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on our automated phone line at 1-800-898-7180. Note that you must have the case assigned alien number to obtain information.

Q. What are the established rules for the Philadelphia Immigration Court?
A. The Immigration Court Practice Manual establishes the rules for all immigration courts throughout the nation.

Q. Does the Court accept fees for applications?
A. The Immigration Court is not authorized to accept fees directly. Application fees and bonds must be paid prior to the hearing at the  Department of Homeland Security (DHS) cashier on the 1^st floor.

Q. How do I find out about my case on appeal?
A. Call the Board of Immigration Appeal (BIA) at (703) 605-1007.

Q. Will the Court accept a fax from me?
A. The Court does not accept faxes.

Q. Can I get copies made at the Court?
A. No, the Court will not provide copies of evidence. Please prepare all documents in advance of your hearing.
