List of Legal Service Providers
The Immigration Court is required by regulation1 to advise you of the availability of free legal
services located in the district where the hearing is being held. The Court
maintains a listing of such organizations and attorneys that have indicated a
willingness to provide free legal services in each court.

You may have received a "List of Free Legal Service Providers" from the Department of Homeland Security when you were served with your Notice to Appear. Although none of the organizations on this list, other than the one listed above, currently represent inmates during hearings at the Downstate Immigration Court, you should retain the list for future reference in the event your hearing is completed at another Immigration Court.
