June 24,
2008 -
The U.S. Marshals Service Mexico Investigative
Liaison program efforts resulted in the arrest of a fugitive wanted on
sex offense charges in Arizona. In a joint investigation, the fugitive
was detained by Mexican law enforcement officials in Sonora, Mexico on
June 21, 2008.
Humberto Guadalupe Hernandez, a U.S. citizen, was wanted for Probation
Violations by the Superior Court in Pima County.

May 22, 2008
- Yesterday afternoon Deputy U.S.
Marshals and Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officers captured Heraclio
Guevara-Juarez, 31, in the area of Palo Verde Rd and Broadway Rd in Buckeye.
Guevara-Juarez, a Mexican national, was wanted in Zacatecas, Mexico for
three counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Homicide and Escape.

May 05, 2008 -
A high level sex offender who had
fled the state to avoid arrest was captured late Saturday
morning in downtown Tucson, AZ by U.S. Marshals. Shane
G. Vaudry, 32, was arrested on May 3, 2007 at the Greyhound bus station
after returning to Arizona from North Carolina. Vaudry was wanted by the
Benson Police Department for failing to update his sex offender registration
and also had an outstanding Tucson Police Department warrant.

- This afternoon members of the U.S. Marshals led Phoenix
High Intensity Drug Task Force (HIDTA) Fugitive Task Force arrested an
alleged child rapist from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lance Kelly, 51, was
wanted by the Albuquerque Police Department after it was alleged that he
raped a 10 year old girl.

April 16,
2008 - From April 7-11, Phoenix valley law enforcement
partners collaborated on “Operation Justice”, a one week fugitive round-up
in honor of “National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Operation Justice netted
valley law enforcement partners 236 fugitives wanted throughout Maricopa
County. In addition to arresting these fugitives, 16 weapons were taken off
the streets and 1 missing juvenile was found.

18, 2008 - Deputy U.S. Marshals in Oklahoma captured accused
child molester Bobby Kennedy, 29, in Lawton, OK.
Deputy U.S. Marshals began hunting for Kennedy in March 2006, at the
request of the Apache Junction Police Department. In 2005 an
arrest warrant was issued by the Pinal County Superior Court after
Kennedy failed to appear for a court hearing. Kennedy, who was
employed as a teacher and youth pastor at the Morning Star Academy
Charter School, had been arrested by the Apache Junction Police
Department after allegations were made that he molested students at
the Morning Star Academy.

- Members of the HEAT Fugitive Task Force
consisting of state and local partners led by the U.S. Marshals
captured escapee Frank Banashley Jr., in a motel in Mesa.
Officers began hunting for Banashley Jr. in early February when
he escaped from a half-way house in Phoenix, where he was
ordered to reside at immediately prior to his release from
prison. Early this morning, Deputies developed information that
Banashley Jr. was hiding at a motel in Mesa, at which time he
was arrested without incident.

February 06, 2008 - An Arkansas man, wanted for the 2005
sexual assault of a physically helpless person, was arrested by the
U.S. Marshals Phoenix High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force at an
apartment in Phoenix. Marlin Cash, 26, was wanted on a felony warrant
by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office in Little Rock, Arkansas for
Sexual Assault.

January 16, 2008 - Deputy U.S. Marshals and Immigration and
Customs Enforcement Agents captured Heriberto Castro-Arellano, 34, in Phoenix,
AZ.
Heriberto Castro-Arellano, a Mexican national and member of an
organized kidnapping ring, was wanted in Guadalajara, Jalisco,
Mexico for kidnapping and murder. According to Mexican authorities
Castro-Arellano was wanted in connection with a kidnapping for
ransom that occurred in March 2000, which resulted in the
strangulation death of the cousin of Castro-Arellano.

October 19,
2007 - An Orlando
woman sought for the parental abduction of her three year old
child was arrested this afternoon by the U.S. Marshals Phoenix
HIDTA Task Force at her apartment in Phoenix. Stephanie
Simon, 36, was wanted on a felony warrant by the Orange County
Sheriff’s Office in Orlando, FL for custodial interference.

October 18,
2007 - On October 16,
2007, United States Marshals Service (USMS) Deputies hunted down
an alleged child molester. Undre Demon Stewart, 23 years
old, was wanted by the Tyler Police Department in Tyler, TX for
three (3) counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

20, 2007 - The U.S.
Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Immigration and Customs
Enforcement Fugitive Operations Team arrested Juan Carlos
Ramirez in Flagstaff early this morning. Ramirez was wanted for
the brutal stabbing death of his girlfriend in North Carolina.
He faces a 1st Degree Murder and two Attempted Murder charges in
Greensboro.

2007 -
On the heels of the conclusion of
Operation FALCON, U.S. Marshals announce the arrest of Oliver
Michael Pryor, wanted for the sexual abuse of his two step
granddaughters. Pryor, 56, was arrested Saturday, August 25,
2007 in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico by the Sonora State
Investigative Police (PEI) based on information developed by
investigators of the U.S. Marshals Mexican Investigative Liaison (USMS-MIL)
in Tucson.

25, 2007 - In one of the largest fugitive initiatives ever
undertaken in the Phoenix-Tucson area, the U.S. Marshals Service
teamed with law enforcement agencies, arresting 340 fugitives and
clearing 371 warrants during a recent six-day sweep. Led by the U.S.
Marshals Service, Operation FALCON (Federal and Local Cops Organized
Nationally) is an ongoing, multi-city, nationwide law enforcement
effort. The operation targets persons wanted for sexual offenses,
gang members, narcotics violations, and other violent crimes.

August 08, 2007 - The United States Marshals Fugitive Task
Force, Glendale Police Fugitive Task Force and Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives captured Texas homicide suspect
Ronald Thompson in West Phoenix Wednesday night, ending a nine day
manhunt.

- A fugitive member of the Black Gangster Disciples Street Gang
based in Chicago, IL was arrested in a Phoenix apartment complex by the
U.S. Marshals Phoenix HIDTA Task Force today. Anthony Carr was
wanted for Homicide and Aggravated Assault in Chicago. After a verbal
altercation inside a parlor, Carr allegedly fired several rounds from an
AK-47 into the parlor, killing one man and injuring several others. Carr
was considered to be armed and extremely dangerous.

31, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Service will participate in the
23rd Annual Policia Internacional Sonora- Arizona (PISA) Reunion and
Training Conference. U.S. Marshals from Arizona, the International
Branch of the Investigative Services Division, and investigators from
around the country assigned to the U.S. Marshals Mexican Investigative
Liaison (MIL) Program will be in attendance at the three day event at
the Hilton El Conquistador from June 4-6, 2007.

April 05, 2007 The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force
and Englewood, Colorado Police Department, in conjunction with the
office of Colorado Attorney General John Suthers, announced today
the arrest of Roy Adkins in a cold case murder from 1976. The
31-year investigation involved the slaying of 57-year old Viola
Ginter, who was brutally strangled in her Englewood home.

- The United States Marshals
Service (USMS) deputies and Lake Havasu City Police Department
detectives hunted down a wanted sex offender hiding in the tourist town
of Lake Havasu City. Barry Bult, wanted for Parole Violation in South
Dakota, was captured while at work earlier today.

- A man suspected of involvement
in a 10 mile chase down two San Bernardino County California freeways
that resulted in the shooting death of a 12 year old boy was arrested
this morning in Tucson by U.S. Marshals and the multi-agency Fugitive
Investigative Strike Team (FIST).

January 19, 2007
- A man suspected in a grisly
Los Angeles area double homicide was arrested January 18th
by Tucson Police after receiving information from local U.S.
Marshals. Christopher Anthony Brown, 38,
was arrested without incident after Tucson Police recognized the
minivan Brown was driving and initiated a
high risk traffic stop at approximately 9:45am on Tucson’s south
side.

January 12, 2007-
A California man wanted on
multiple bank robberies in the Los Angeles area was hit by a car on I-17
while attempting to evade U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force members last
night. Steven Dennis, 36, a California Parolee at Large, has outstanding
warrants in San Bernardino for several bank robberies.

- The United States Marshals
Service (USMS) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) continued their sex
offender enforcement efforts under the newly signed Adam Walsh Act by
capturing convicted Sex Offender Evaristo Saucedo, a Mexican National.
Saucedo had fled authorities on two prior occasions, but could not
escape the Task Force members.

November 20, 2006
- Last week, fugitives in
Maricopa County had a brief, one-time opportunity to take their first
step toward a second chance and took full advantage of it. Over 1,300
fugitives surrendered peacefully to the law over four days at Pilgrim
Rest Baptist Church in Phoenix as part of
Fugitive Safe Surrender.

- Over the past two days, more
than 350 fugitives took their first step toward a second chance at
Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church as part of
Fugitive Safe Surrender. There are only two days left for fugitives with outstanding felony
warrants to turn themselves in at 1401 E. Jefferson in Phoenix, between
9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

- The United States Marshals
Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force tracked down Philip Stapleton, a man
the New York Police Department (NYPD) believe shot his friend three
times in the head, killing him. Stapleton was one of Bronx’s Top Ten
Most Wanted Fugitive’s.

- The United States Marshals Service (USMS) High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area
(HIDTA) Task Force arrested Diliberto Arce at a west Phoenix home
last night. Arce, who is an undocumented alien, was wanted on
federal violations in Kansas for methamphetamine trafficking and is
also a suspect in a homicide case in Sinaloa, Mexico.

October 27, 2006
- Phoenix, AZ – The United States Marshals Service (USMS) High
Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force, Immigration and
Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office
arrested homicide suspect Adan Aguayo-Reyes last night in Maricopa,
AZ. Mexican officials believe Aguayo-Reyes murdered two individuals
in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico.
