District News:  July 10, 2008 - Santos F. Garcia, 22 of Fort Worth was arrested this morning by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Leander, TX without incident after Garcia was identified as the alleged shooter in a homicide occurring last week in Fort Worth resulting in the death of a 17-year old male.  Read More
 
Falcon 2008 LogoOperation FALCON 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force along with many local, state and federal agencies combined their talents to arrest fugitives throughout the entire Western Judicial District of Texas in a week-long Operation FALCON (Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally). The Western District of Texas encompasses seven Divisions throughout the state that include El Paso, Pecos, Midland, Waco, Austin, Del Rio and San Antonio. Each Division is responsible for a number of counties. Each of these Divisions partnered with fellow law enforcement officers June 22-28 to conduct Operation FALCON, the largest fugitive sweep to date in the Western District of Texas. This combined effort resulted in 993 felony fugitives arrested during the target week.  Read More
