   <title>Zachary Man Arrested for Role in Attempted Murder</title>

   <description>October 10, 2008 - The third of four suspects wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a man last month surrendered to the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force this afternoon. Chadrick Carter, 33, of Zachary, was charged with three counts of Principle to Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Second Degree Battery, and Criminal Damage to Property.</description>

Tate (age 23) was the third male in a trio that are suspects in a series of robberies ranging from Euclid to Cleveland. Earlier this month, Arsenio Winston and Marshal Butts were taken into custody by members of the Task Force, the Cleveland Police Department, and the Euclid Police Department</description>

   <title>Sex Offender Captured in Toledo, Ohio</title>

   <description>October 09, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, with assistance from the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, arrested fugitive Andy Ellenwood on October 8, 2008, in Toledo, Ohio. Ellenwood (age 57) was wanted by the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office in Cordele, Ga. for violation of probation stemming from a conviction for Aggravated Sodomy of a Minor. Ellenwood was also wanted by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office in Macon, Ga. for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.</description>

   <title>Fugitive Task Force Arrests Tulsa Homicide Suspect in Basalt</title>

   <description>October 09, 2008 - John Richard Beato, 22, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Basalt by members of the Fugitive Location and Apprehension Group (FLAG), the Basalt Police Department and deputy U.S. marshals from Denver and Grand Junction. Beato was wanted by the Tulsa, OK Police Department for the August, 2007 murder of 25-year-old Antonio Flores. Flores was found dead in his mobile home several days after he was killed.</description>

   <title>Tulsa Homicide Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals in Colorado</title>

   <description>October 09, 2008 - U.S. Marshals in Denver, Colorado arrested John Richard Beato, who is wanted by the Tulsa Police Department for the homicide of 25-year-old Antonio Flores who was found dead in his mobile home days after the murder that occurred in August of 2007. Tulsa homicide detectives requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force in the apprehension of John Richard Beato. Tulsa detectives and U.S. Marshals received information that Beato had possibly traveled to the Basalt, Colorado area shortly after the homicide.</description>

   <title>U.S. Marshals Capture San Diego Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender </title>

   <description>October 08, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals-led Child Predator Apprehension Team (CPAT) continued their sex offender enforcement efforts under the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006 by capturing convicted Sex Offender Ernest Dew, 36, yesterday in Phoenix. Dew had recently been named one of San Diego’s Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders and was wanted by the California Department of Corrections for violating the conditions of his parole, after having been convicted of Burglary.</description>

   <description>October 07, 2008 - Capture of 15 Most Wanted Fugitive - U.S. Marshals arrested 15 Most Wanted fugitive Luc Pierre-Charles Jr., last night in Rockledge, Fla. His capture marks the 200th Most Wanted fugitive arrested in the program’s 25-year history. Investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service in Tampa and Orlando employed extensive investigative tools to track down Pierre-Charles. Working on information received from the Pasco County area indicating he was in contact with family members in the Cocoa area, U.S. Marshals deployed to bring the fugitive to justice.</description>

   <title>Illinois Child Sex Assault Fugitive Nabbed in Williamson County</title>

   <description>October 07, 2008 - Aurelio Duran, 45, was arrested this morning by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at approximately 7:00 am in Florence, Texas without incident. Duran was charged in the Chicago area suburb of Round Lake Beach in February of 2008 following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault of a minor in 2001. Duran was charged with one count of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child.</description>

Chenu was indicted by a Comal County Grand Jury on October 1, 2008, alleging six counts involving indecency and aggravated sexual assaults against a minor child.</description>

   <title>Homicide Suspect Captured in Roanoke City</title>

   <description>October 03, 2008 - The suspect in the city’s 11th homicide of the year was captured by a dedicated team of task force officers led by the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) based out of Roanoke Thursday afternoon. Deandre Miller, 20, of Roanoke was captured by a swarm of task force officers outside an apartment building in Jamestown Village on Queen Ann Drive in southeast Roanoke without incident. Miller is suspected of shooting Derrick Patrick Hobson, also 20, on September 25, 2008.</description>

The arrest brings to close an intense manhunt that began on March 12th of this year when Hernandez fled town to avoid trial in Midland County for two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and one count of Indecency with a Child.</description>

   <title>Roanoke Murder Suspect Captured in Pennsylvania</title>

   <description>October 02, 2008 - A woman wanted in the stabbing death of a Roanoke man was apprehended in Pittsburgh by the U.S. Marshals Service. Marcella Gail Martin, 53, is charged with murder in the stabbing death of Lonnie Marsh at the American Motel on Williamson Road Northwest. Roanoke City police responded to room 8 of the hotel on December 20, 2004 and discovered Marsh’s body. Marcella Martin immediately became a suspect in his death and an arrest warrant was issued, but she fled Roanoke before she could be located.</description>

   <title>NWA Violent Crime Task Force Continues to Impact Northwest Arkansas with Two Major Fugitive Arrests</title>

   <description>October 01, 2008 - U.S. Marshals and the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Sex Offender and Violent Crime Task Force announce the arrest of Frankie Milton, 35, and Cannon Sizemore, 29. Milton was arrested in Springdale, Arkansas for absconding state supervision. Milton was convicted of murder in 1996, and sentenced to more than 20 years in state prison. Sizemore, also a probation absconder, was arrested on October 1, 2008 in Madison County. Sizemore, convicted of manslaughter in 2002 and sentenced to 9 years, was arrested after a brief scuffle and transported without further incident.</description>

The Youngstown Police Department wanted Matland for an incident that occurred on September 30th, where he allegedly forced his way into his estranged wife’s residence and assaulted her.</description>

   <title>Child Found After Missing For Two Years</title>

   <description>September 29, 2008 - In October of 2007, the U.S. Marshals Service was asked for assistance in locating and apprehending fugitives Eileen and Perry Sharp. In August of 2006, the FBI obtained an Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant for the Sharps based on felony warrants in the non-custodial abduction of Shanae Peterson. On Monday, September 29, 2008, positive identification was made and Perry and Eileen Sharp were arrested without incident.</description>

   <title>Texas Fugitive, Multi-State Suspect Nabbed in Pacific Northwest</title>

   <description>September 29, 2008 - Rodney Lee Compton, 24, a recent Pennsylvania parolee was arrested in the small hamlet of Castle Rock, Washington at the foot of Mount St. Helens. Compton was arrested without incident by U.S. Marshals, Castle Rock Police Department, and the Vancouver Police Department Career Criminal Apprehension Team. Compton, released from Pennsylvania Department of Corrections on August 10, 2008, engaged in a multi-state crime spree starting in Jasper County, Christian County Missouri, and Pittsburg, Kansas.</description>

Bennett was a fugitive out of Alaska wanted for Federal Probation Violation. His original charge was cocaine sales.</description>

   <description>September 26, 2008 - On September 25, 2008, the Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Bryant Boudin in New Orleans, LA. Boudin was booked for the murder of Betsy McDaniel, owner of the popular Betsy’s Pancake House in Mid-City. He was charged with second degree murder and aggravated battery. Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives allege that Boudin, 27, brutally beat McDaniel, 72, in her Marrero home on Memorial Day of this year.</description>

Thanks to an anonymous tipster, information was received on the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Taskforce hotline regarding the whereabouts of Garrett. Garrett was wanted by the North Royalton Police on larceny charges and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for receiving stolen property, and by Cleveland Police for felonious assault.</description>

   <title>Federal Fugitive Arrested in Seattle, WA</title>

   <description>September 20, 2008 - Larry Rich, a federal fugitive, was arrested in Seattle, WA by the Seattle Police Department.  On September 19th, the night before Rich’s arrest, Eugene Police SWAT and the FBI office responded to an apartment in Eugene, Oregon. After a two and half hour stand-off an empty apartment was searched and Larry Rich was no where to be found. Rich is a convicted bank robber and was considered armed and dangerous.</description>

   <description>September 19, 2008 - The United States Marshals Service WANTED Task Force in Phoenix, announce the arrest of a man wanted in Texas for sexual assault charges from 1999. Charles Eugene Holybee, 61yoa, is wanted in Longview, Texas on a December, 1999 warrant alleging sex offenses with his 14 year old daughter. When Holybee became aware of pending charges, he abandoned his semi truck and trailer in Shepherd, Texas and vanished. Holybee had been a fugitive for almost 9 years.</description>
