Abstract: The OIPR Automated Secure Information System (OASIS) of the Office of Intelligence Policy and Review (OIPR) is a secure local area network installed in OIPR in 1998. It provides OIPR staff a secure environment in which to exchange information and documents via a secure intra-office e-mail and groupware system. There are no connections to outside systems or users.

Purpose: This system was created and is maintained to input, store, and manage classified information used by the OIPR staff in the performance of their duties.

Access constraints: Access to this system is restricted to OIPR personnel with "TOP SECRET/SCI" clearance and a need to know.

Use constraints: This system is a local area network e-mail and groupware database resource for the exclusive use of OIPR personnel.

Agency program: The OASIS is a resource in support of the OIPR mission to advise and assist the Attorney General in carrying out his responsibilities under Executive Order 12333, "United States Intelligence Activities."

Sources of data: All inputs to OASIS are internal and effected by OIPR staff who store and manage information in the daily performance of their duties.
