Thursday, September 17, 2020 update:

On Thursday, September 17, 2020, an initial pretrial conference was held via teleconference in the case of U.S. v. Robert Hadden 20 Cr. 468 (RMB). The Court directed the parties to confer regarding a protective order and discovery schedule. A pretrial conference will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., before the Honorable Richard M. Berman, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.

Wednesday, September 9, 2020 update:

On September 9, 2020, the United States Attorney’s Office announced the unsealing of a six-count indictment against Robert Hadden, a former obstetrics-gynecology physician, for allegedly enticing and inducing six victims to travel interstate to engage in illegal sexual activity.  The indictment alleges that from at least in or about 1993, up to and including at least in or about 2012, Hadden enticed and induced dozens of victims, including minors, to travel to his medical offices in New York, New York, at least in part for the purpose of subjecting them to unlawful sexual abuse.  Hadden was arrested and presented before U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert W. Lehrburger, who imposed bail terms of a $1 million personal recognizance bond and ordered Hadden confined to home detention.  The case is assigned to U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman.

An initial pretrial conference has been scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., before the Honorable Richard M. Berman, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
