Contacting the Criminal Section

The primary fax number is (202) 514-8336. A second fax number, (202) 616-0372, can be used if the primary number is unavailable. The fax number at the NCATF office is (202) 786-3600. It is recommended that mail be addressed to the Criminal Section's post office box rather than to the street address. The post office box is: P.O. Box 66018, Washington, D.C. 20035-6018. Mail specifically for the NCATF should be addressed to P.O. Box 65798, Washington, D.C. 20530-5798. General questions or issues relating to new incidents should be directed primarily to the Deputy Chief responsible for the district. Questions about which attorney from the Criminal Section has been assigned to a matter may be directed to the legal technicians responsible for docketing, Patricia Brown (202-616-3936) and Angela Walker (202-514-3858). It is helpful to have the Criminal Section's number or the name of the victim and/or subject so that the matter can be located on the Section's computerized docketing system. [updated February 1998]
