CLE for Agency Counsel
The Office of Legal Education is in the process of developing an expanded program of distance education training for federal agency counsel. In the future, we hope to have the technical capacity and the resources to deliver training content using a variety of different solutions- - DVDs, our satellite broadcasting system, and the internet. We envision establishing partnerships with those federal agencies interested in sharing some of the costs of this program in exchange for enhanced training opportunities.
In the interim, for calendar year 2008, OLE is making available, at no cost, a number of recorded training modules for use by United States government executive branch agency attorneys. Upon request, OLE will provide agency Training Representatives with a copy of each module and will sponsor showings of these taped programs, on a limited basis, for CLE credit. Your office will manage all aspects of the training; OLE will provide training content and assistance with CLE approval.
