BAINBRIDGE DRUG DEALERS SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON

United States Attorney Maxwell Wood announces the sentencing of Kelvin Hampton, age 35, of Bainbridge, Georgia and Darius Faulk, age 30, of Dothan, Alabama to federal prison by the Honorable W. Louis Sands of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, on June 10, 2008.

Hampton plead guilty to selling more than 50 grams of crack cocaine in Bainbridge, Georgia.  He was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months to be served in federal prison. 

Faulk also plead guilty to distribution of approximately 250 grams of powder cocaine in Bainbridge, Georgia.  He was sentenced to serve 3 years and 1 month in federal prison.  There is no parole in the federal system.

The cases were investigated by Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force Agents and Investigators with the Bainbridge Department of Public Safety.  Assistant United States Attorney Jason M. Ferguson prosecuted both cases.
