Mexican National Sentenced on Immigration Charges
Davenport, IA- On May 2, 2008, Lucas Cerafin Perez-Quijano, 22, of Mexico, was sentenced to 1 day imprisonment for fraud and misuse of documents (Count 1) and 24 months imprisonment for aggravated identity theft (Count 2) , with the latter sentence to run consecutive to the sentence on Count 1, announced United States Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. United States District Judge John A. Jarvey also ordered Ortiz-Camarillo to serve a two year term of supervised release following his incarceration and was assessed to pay $100 to the Crime Victim Fund.
This investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Officer, Southern District of Iowa.
