MAN SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DELINEGE KING, age 28, resident of Houston, Texas was sentenced yesterday to twenty (20) years (240 months), to be followed by a term of ten (10) years of supervised release, in federal court before Honorable Jay Zainey, announced U.S. Attorney Jim Letten.
On April 17, 2007, KING pled guilty as charged to one count of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine in the Eastern District of Louisiana. Because KING has previously been convicted of a felony drug offense in the past, he faced an enhanced sentence.
This case was investigated by Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Sivashree Sundaram.
