Introductory Statement
The United States Attorney's Office is staffed with over 100 criminal and civil Assistant United States Attorneys. The support staff includes: paralegals, legal assistants, and various administrative and professional staff.
The Eastern District of Michigan consists of 34 counties in the eastern half of Michigan's lower peninsula, where more than two thirds of the State's population resides. The United States Attorney's main office is in Detroit and staffed branch offices are located in Flint and Bay City. An unstaffed branch office is located in Ann Arbor.
