District Information

The Middle District of North Carolina includes the 24 counties in the central part of the state from Durham County on the east to Yadkin County on the west, stretching up to Virginia on the north side and down to South Carolina on the south. The Headquarters Office for the middle district is in Greensboro. There is a staffed branch office in Winston-Salem and an unstaffed branch office in Durham.

The middle district currently employs 23 Assistant United States Attorneys and has a support staff of 30 employees who support the Criminal, Civil and Administrative Divisions of the office.
