Gregory A. Brower
United States Attorney

United States Attorney Gregory A. Brower was nominated by President George W. Bush in November 2007 and confirmed by the United States Senate on December 13, 2007. Prior to serving as United States Attorney, Mr. Brower served as General Counsel to the Government Printing Office (GPO) and as the GPO’s Inspector General. He previously served at the U.S. Department of Justice where he was Legislative Counsel in the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys. As a practicing attorney, Mr. Brower has more than 15 years of experience as a litigator. His prior public service also includes being twice elected to the Nevada State Legislature, and service on a variety of state and national task forces and commissions, including: National Commission on Uniform State Laws, Nevada State Sentencing Commission, Nevada State Juvenile Justice Commission, Nevada State Corrections Task Force, and the American Legislative Exchange Council’s Civil Justice Task Force. He has also served on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Fellow, and served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. Mr. Brower grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a law degree from The George Washington University. He is also a graduate of the Executive Program at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
