9, 2007 - United
States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan announced today the filing of a
2-count Indictment* charging Emmanuel Narcisse with fraudulently obtaining
department store shopping passes in the names of other individuals and
using the passes to purchase an assortment of merchandise. If convicted
of the charges in the indictment, Narcisse faces a maximum of 20 years
in prison, a fine of $500,000, a special assessment of $200 and 3 years
of supervised release. This case was investigated by the Philadelphia Field
Office of the United States Postal Inspection, the United States Secret
Service, the Abington Township Police Department and the Lower Merion Township
Police Department.
