NEW YORK MAN SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING IN LEBANON COUNTY Thomas A. Marino, United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, announced today that a former New York resident was sentenced in federal court to a 10-year jail term for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking through Lebanon County in October of 2006. According to Mr. Marino, John Edward Mazyck, age 36, formerly of New York City, was sentenced to 120 months’ imprisonment, and a three-year term of supervised release following his guilty plea conviction for drug distribution. These charges arose out of an October 18, 2006 traffic stop in which Mazyck was found to be in possession of approximately 19 ounces of crack cocaine. **** |
