The State of Tennessee is divided into three judicial districts - the Eastern District (headquartered in Knoxville), the Middle District, and the Western District (headquartered in Memphis).
The Middle District has unstaffed branch offices in Columbia and Cookeville. The district is comprised of thirty- two of the ninety-five counties in the state of Tennessee.
