Victim-Witness Coordinators

The Department of Justice is firmly committed to providing crime victims the rights and services required under Federal Law. The United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas employs 4 victim witness coordinators who are responsible for coordinating the notification process for victims and witnesses who are involved in cases prosecuted by this office. These individuals are located in San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso. The Coordinator also can refer victims and witnesses to agencies that provide assistance such as counseling, medical care, shelter, and victim compensation.
