VERMONT MAN SENTENCED FOR ARMED BANK ROBBERY
The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that Allan Reynolds, 23, of St. Albans, Vermont, was sentenced on March 4, 2008 to 33 months in prison for robbing the TD Banknorth branch bank in Enosburg Falls, Vermont. Chief United States District Judge William K. Sessions III, sitting in Burlington, also sentenced Reynolds to two years of supervised release following his prison sentence, and ordered him to pay restitution.
According to court documents in the case, on August, 9, 2007, Reynolds used a knife to rob the TD Banknorth branch bank in Enosburg Falls, Vermont. Reynolds stole $4,880. Reynolds was arrested the following day by the Vermont State Police. On November 20, 2007, Reynolds pleaded guilty to bank robbery. He has been incarcerated since that date.
