Timothy W. O'Neal has been the Assistant United States Trustee for the Eastern District of Texas since 1991. He joined the United States Trustee's office in Dallas in 1987 through the Attorney General's Honors Program. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Tim served as a briefing attorney for Justice James Wallace of the Supreme Court of Texas. He is a 1986 honors graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, where he served as Managing Editor of the Houston Law Review, and editor of Product Liability Law in Texas by James Sales and The Law of Texas Medical Malpractice by James Sales and Jim Perdue. Tim is a 1981 honors graduate of Boston University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the East Texas Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Smith County Bar Association.
