STATEMENTS OF POSITION

The U.S. Trustee’s office now has procedures to provide attorneys and other professionals seeking employment in cases (“Applicants”), with Statements of Position (“SOPs”) in PDF format which can then be filed electronically by the Applicant via ECF.

Those wishing to receive SOPs in PDF format may make such requests to the U.S. Trustee by sending the Application to Employ, Declarations in Support Thereof, and Proposed Order (all in PDF format) to the United States Trustee at the following e-mail address:

ustp.region15sop@usdoj.gov

Please DO NOT mail a hard copy of your Application/Declaration/Order concurrently with your e-mail request. Please also note that pursuant to Amended General Order 162, and Local Bankruptcy Rule 9034, all requests for Statements of Position received via e-mail will be responded to within 8 business days.
