CRS provides training programs to improve local capacity to address conflicts, deescalate tensions, and prevent disputes. Our training programs provide representatives from government, faith organizations, law enforcement, civil rights groups, and other community organizations with knowledge and skills that increase understanding and improve collaboration between diverse stakeholders.

These training programs are designed to increase community awareness and build relationships between law enforcement, government officials, and Muslim and Sikh American communities.

This training is designed to help officers develop relationships and improve their interactions with transgender communities and individuals. 

Reducing Risk During Public Events: Contingency Planning

Reducing Risk During Public Events: Contingency Planning provides best practices and tools to help law enforcement, government officials, event organizers, and community volunteers plan safe demonstrations, rallies, or other public events. 

Event Marshals: Maintaining Safety During Public Events

This training program prepares Event Marshals with best practices and key information they need to know to perform their marshaling duties successfully and help maintain public safety during community events.

Facilitating Meetings Around Community Conflict

The Facilitating Meetings Around Community Conflict (FMACC) program is designed to educate community leaders in the fundamentals of facilitating meetings where community tension requires difficult conversations.
