1-11.000 - Electronic Litigation Proficiency

Department employees and contractors whose duties relate to the investigation or litigation of criminal or civil cases – including prosecutors, civil litigators, law enforcement agents, and staff members – are expected to achieve and maintain proficiency with technological advancements in pertinent litigation-related systems and practices. It is each individual employee’s responsibility to develop and maintain the electronic litigation skills necessary to achieve just and favorable outcomes while meeting the Department’s legal and ethical obligations.
