About the Office

The Deputy Assistant Attorney General/Chief Information Officer (DAAG/CIO) provides leadership and oversight of DOJ’s information and information technology (IT) programs and services through department-wide IT policies, strategic plans, and the development and procurement of enterprise IT services. The CIO is responsible for all IT acquisitions across the Department, provides guidance to the IT budget requests of the Department's Components. The CIO is also tasked with ensuring the security and reliability of DOJ systems and information.
