Q: What do I bring to a section 341 meeting?

A: Review the Debtor Identification program acceptable types of ID [PDF - 26 KB] found on this site. In addition, the appointed trustee may request additional documentation to be furnished.

Q: Who do I contact to adjourn my § 341 meeting?

A: You contact the trustee assigned to the case. A list of trustee names and phone numbers can be found on this site: Chapter 7 Trustees, Chapter 13 Trustees.

Q: What date will my § 341 hearing be scheduled for and who will my trustee be?

A: Trustee appointments and § 341 dates are computer generated using a blind rotation methodology by the Bankruptcy Court Clerks Office. A Notice of commencement of case, which is mailed, will include date and time of § 341 hearing.

Q: How do I request a copy of a § 341 meeting recording?

A: Please send a blank CD and a written request to the United States Trustee with the date of the meeting, the case number, the case name and a self-addressed stamped envelope. Please contact Denise Scime’ at 315-793-8191 at the U.S. Trustee痴 Office, if you have any questions.
