New England Strike Force

The New England Strike Force, operating in collaboration with the United States Attorneys’ Offices for the Districts of New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont, as well as with agency partners, launched in 2022 to address aberrant opioid prescribing in New England. In addition to unlawful prescribing, the New England Strike Force targets health care fraud schemes involving doctors and other medical professionals involved in defrauding federal health care benefit programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, among other health insurance programs.
